Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana — Bharatanatyam Competition

The Aradhana Committee will once again be conducting a Bharatanatyam competition as part of the annual Thyagaraja Aradhana.

The competition finals will be the grand finale for the Aradhana. It will be held on March 30

The rules as well as the application process for the dance competition have changed significantly this year, including new age categories. Please read the rules page carefully for details.

Dancers in each category will be competing for a grand prize package featuring the opportunity to give a 1½ hour solo dance performance, under the auspices of the Aradhana Committee, at a leading sabha in Chennai, India during the December 2008 music and dance season.

To apply, you will need to submit a completed application form as well as a video recording of one of your performances. Finalists will be selected from the submissions to perform on the final day of the Aradhana. For further details, please read through our rules and regulations page.
