Ravi Shankar program cancelled

The Aradhana Committee is sorry to announce the Pandit Ravi Shankar concert on April 6th has been cancelled.

Ravi Shankar has taken ill and cannot travel at this time. Our prayers and wishes are with him and his family and we hope he has a speedy recovery and can soon grace our festival with his presence.

If you have already bought tickets via Playhouse Square, they will be contacting you directly about your refund.

The new program for Friday evening, April 6th, is a Pandit Ravi Shankar tribute concert from 6:15–7:15 pm by the artists that the maestro himself selected, followed by a Jugalbandhi by the legends Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna and Dr. N. Ramani starting at 7:30 pm. The ticket price for this entire event is $40 and can be purchased at the venue. The venue has been moved to Waetjen Auditorium at Cleveland State University, where all the other festival performances are taking place.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and we look forward to seeing you all in Cleveland! We count on your support, so that we can continue to bring you the best in classical music and dance. For the most up-to-date schedule please visit our schedule page.
