2025 Margam Abhinayam Track
The Abhinayam track is open to dancers ages 17 and above, who have completed their Arangetram. There are a limited number of performers for this track, and who performs will be determined on an audition basis and a final assessment of learning
This year's Abhinayam workshop will be led by the esteemed Dr S. Divyasena, a distinguished Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, and choreographer with over 30 years of teaching experience. She studied abhinayam directly from the late Kalanidhi Narayanan.
Dance coaches for the workshop are award-winning artists Shabin Bright and Upanisha Kannan, who are both senior disciples of Dr S. Divyasena.

Schedule
- Item 1: Thursday, November 28 - Sunday, December 1 (US Thanksgiving weekend)
- Item 2: Friday, February 14 - Monday, February 17 (US Presidents’ Day weekend)
- Mandatory in-person rehearsals will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd and Thursday, April 24th
- Performance will be Friday, April 25th
Fees
Fees include instruction, choreography, virtual workshops, digital material, platform access, and program administration. Fees are non-refundable and in USD.
- Abhinayam track fee $350 per item
- Early Bird Special $600 for both items - register by Saturday, October 19 at 11:59pm ET
- Registration deadline is Saturday, November 9 at 11:59pm ET
- There are a limited number of performers for these items, and will be determined via an audition and a final assessment of learning. Practices for those selected to perform will be held in the month of March
