Competition for Concert
This is a special category in that the winner of this category will perform a 1 hr concert on the final Sunday of the Aradhana (accompanists will be provided by the Aradhana Committee).
Please read these rules carefully before registering for the competition.
- All entrants must be of age 21 or less (as of March 31), and must have lived in North America for at least the last five years.
- People who have performed a concert in a previous Cleveland Aradhana are not eligible to participate in the competition.
- All applicants must submit 5 (FIVE) krithis. You may be asked to sing a krithi, alapana in its raga, niraval, kalpana swaram, or any combination of those. The judges will choose what you will perform on stage.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding.
- Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate disqualification.
- All applications for registration must be received by March 7 . Applications received after that date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
